These product specifications are applicable to various models of the 22M/22MT-Series Palmer Hamilton cafeteria folding tables.

Materials

Tabletop

• The core is 3/4" M-3 industrial grade particleboard with average density of 45 P.C.F. The particleboard panel has a smooth surface for laminating. The longer core particles enhance the core strength and dimensional stability.
• Tabletop thickness is .80" +/- .020".
• The top is laminated with Wilsonart .030 high-pressure laminate for superior abrasion resistance. Meets or exceeds NEMA specifications.
• .028 Wilsonart phenolic backer is bonded to the bottom of the core, providing the fabricated piece with balance and protection from the effects of humidity in their normal use.
• Top is secured to frame with #10 × ¾" screws for superior holding power and ease of replacement, 9" on centers.
• Edges are sealed and finished with black EdgeGuard™, a sprayed on polyurea edge treatment that provides superior resistance to moisture, eliminates unsanitary food traps, and is extremely tamper resistant.

Frame

All metal parts of the frame are thoroughly cleaned to resist corrosion and provide maximum paint adhesion. Metal is finished with high-grade electro-statically applied, baked-on epoxy powder to resist abrasion, marring and scratching. Chrome plating optional at an additional charge.

• Shaped tables have full perimeter 16-gauge steel channel apron.
• 1" diameter 14-gauge mechanical steel tubing is used for the end leg assembly.
• Hinges and hinge plates are 11-gauge steel.

Table Undercarriage

All critical pivot parts are attached to the unitized steel frame, not the wood top. All pivot point hardware is permanent and tamper proof. Nylon bushings are used at all critical pivot points for ease of operation (no metal-to-metal contact). All tables feature a two-stage safety lock and fold together in one single motion from either side.

• Self-supporting unitized frame design.
• Table sides fold flat for compact storage.
• Framework completely enclosed for safety.
• Latches are steel for safety and long life and are located where they cannot be accidentally opened or knocked out of adjustment.
• Table rolls on four 3" diameter × 1" wide Poly II gray rubber, ball-bearing swivel casters. The 6' rectangular table rolls on four 4" diameter × 1" wide Poly II gray rubber, ball-bearing swivel casters. Poly II rubber wheels provide excellent floor protection, abrasion resistance, good impact strength, quiet operation, and rolling ease. They are non-marking and resistant to water, oil and most acids and chemicals.

Storage Footprint

For each table, the storage footprint is less than 10" center-to-center. Add 9" for each additional table.

Certifications and Performance Standards

GREENGUARD® Certification — These tables have been awarded both the GREENGUARD Indoor Air Quality Certification® and the more stringent Children & Schools Certification (daycare and K-12) by the GREENGUARD Environmental Institute (GEI). All GREENGUARD® products have been tested for their chemical emissions performance and can be found in the GREENGUARD® product guide at GREENGUARD.org.

Product Warranty

As part of Palmer Hamilton's ongoing commitment to quality, product specifications, changes or modifications may be made without prior notice. Palmer Hamilton warrants that its products shall be free from defects in original material and workmanship for a period of fifteen years from the original shipment date. This warranty shall not apply to normal wear and tear or in the event products are damaged as a result of misuse, abuse, vandalism, neglect, accident, improper application, and modification or repair by persons not authorized by Palmer Hamilton. The company will, at its discretion, repair or replace any defects. Any repair or replacement must be approved in advance by the factory before any action is taken. There are no implied warranties of fitness or merchantability, and there are no other express warranties beyond the warranties expressed here.
